Hi, when you are cutting to the desired length, what do you mean by not "rounding up" on each side? You say to cut a square line but then show a red line in the video that is diagonal. Thanks for the awesome video!

Thank you so much for posting this video! I gave my fiance a quarantine haircut and it turned out amazing! I was nervous in the beginning because I cut a significant amount of length off and I've never cut hair before, but it turned out so handsome. Thank God for youtube

Im so frustrated with barbersThere is no satisfaction from them after the haircutIt's so frustrating ????Barbers are uselessNow im decided to not to go to saloonsAnd I'm growing my hair and I'll buy trimmer and i become bald when i need a haircut ????

With you over directing the sections up from the nape to the section at the crown, would I be correct to say that this is to maintain the length at the perimeter of the haircut? If so, what is the purpose of this when it comes to achieving your finished look?

Thank you so much my husband was very happy with the result. We cut off so much uneven and dry hair he loves the length that it is now because he can still pull it back into a tail. Video was so easy to follow ????????????????

Went from homeless to homeless. Its criminal if you charged for that.

This was an amazing tutorial. I gave my husband his first quarantine haircut (first haircut I’ve ever done), and this was so easy to follow. The end result was great.

WHERE DO I FIND THIS GUY! LOOKS SO PROFESSIONALLoved the video! I want and need a haircut there ASAP this quarantine ends!

I don’t know anything about hair and I was wondering where I could get a barber or hair stylist to do this for me. Should I just go to any hair salon or barbershop? The ones ive been too have been mostly generic and only basic cuts like this.

Wow this video was soooo helpful — have to cut my husbands long hair while we’re under stay at home orders and this made me feel very confident that I could do it. Thank you for the detailed step-by-step instructions and the visuals!

Nice tutorial! Can you please say me what kind of razor do you use? Thanks!

Just curious, if you keep pulling sections up to the exact same point never moving the original over directed starting piece/ guideline, why not just pull it all up and point cut one time?

Thank you for this video. I just cut my husband's hair during quarantine using your guidance. It looks great!

Doesnt the last section (the single layer sections) just undo all the layering you did?

  17. Tyler Tracy

Hey rum, How do you manage to keep the initial section line so clean while youre overdirecting back on the top of the head? Also, I was able to keep my guide really well until connecting the sides, then I couldn't find it. Any tips for this?

scared to cut my hair because I haven't met anyone who cuts like this. Anyone in LA want to cut my hair?

Thanks for the great vid—easy to follow directions and appreciated the step-by-step. A clutch view to clean up my teen during club quarantine.

Does layering hurt the volume of the hair? I was thinking of doing it once it gets to my upper chest

Thank you for this detailed video! I have a question: since you did the layers first, did you cut those shorter than you eventually cut the length? I’m wondering because my bf’s hair is very long right now, but he wants to cut it shoulder length. I’m wondering if I should cut the length first and then do the layers, so this video but switched?

I have little to no cutting experience. Just finished this cut on my boyfriend and it turned out exactly as he had hoped!! It looks great! Trust me when I say that if you carefully follow the instructions, you can do this at home!

This is the best hair tutorial on YouTube by none. I just wish I could get this done in London.

Great tutorial. Very helpful instructions — esp. during this quarantine! Many thanks.

You are an expert barber and a born instructor! How gracious of you to educate those of us wishing to learn the art of cutting. YOU, my friend are a true artist!! Gracias and God bless!! New subscriber ????‍♂️

My boyfriend has this length of hair but it’s super thick and curly. Is it still a good idea to trim it wet? Could that damage his hair?

  27. Chris Weston

Thank you for this tutorial. I've asked my wife to try this out while we are stuck in the house because my hair has gotten waaay too long! One question: At the 13-minute mark, what kind of razor do you use? Straight, thinning, texture?

  28. paulie sounds

Can u not make it any more complicated ????much more simplified videos out there !!

  29. TheWillDiamond

If the client didn't have an undercut would you keep taking sections right the way down the side down to the ear until you run out of hair?
